A little bit of this about Ava Leigh:
She is 4 1/2 years old!
She sings and dances almost every night with songs she makes up. We have several AWESOME songs on film!
She has the best prayers. Her teachers have told me that they have never seen a 4 year old pray like she does! ;-)
When she gets cold she says "There is fur growing on my knees!"
She has a vivid imagination. Every night she pretends the most amazing stories!
She LOVES books!
Her favorite color is pink.
Her favorite activity is arts and crafts.
She is bossy and loves to boss her sister around.
She is really taking to the big sister role. She loves to teach Aubrey things and has become protective and loving to her sissy. However, when her sissy doesn't do what she wants to do, she gets mad.
She wears her emotions on her sleeve.
She is VERY analytical and already an abstract thinker. The other night this was her question to me. "Mom, is there two Jesus'? Because if God and Jesus are the same person and he put Jesus in Mary's belly then there are two Jesus', right?" Trying to understand the trinity at 4......seriously?
She also asked told me the other day that in heaven she would not have to poo poo in the potty, brush her hair and she could have dog treats?! (she hates to have her hair brushed)
She is in LOVE with My Little Pony.
She LOVES rides and is not afraid of them.
She also is not afraid of Halloween "scary" decorations or moving dinosaurs or people in costumes. She is figuring out what is real and what is make believe.
She is a Daddy's girl.
She loves her light up shoes.
She loves to bake with mommy-an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas is in the works!
Donuts are her favorite food!
She has a mind like an elephant; she never forgets or lets you forget!
A little bit of that about Aubrey Madeline:
She will be TWO in less than a week!
She is very outgoing; waves and talks to strangers all the time!
When she sees a group of kids she says "Hi kids"!
She gives lots of hugs and kisses. She especially loves to hug friends!
If you grown or say ouch she will always say "Are you okay?"
She is easy to correct.
She is a mommy's girl (for now).
She LOVES her crocks.
She LOVES her paci; not just any paci, but her PURPLE PACI.
She has a naturally joyful spirit.
When people are laughing, she bust out laughing!
She loves to help like throwing away trash, sweeping the floors, taking the dishes out of the dishwasher...
If I ask her to help, she replies "Sure, mommy".
Her favorite characters are Barney and Boz.
She can eat and is a horribly messy eater.
She will take food off of any body's plate without asking.
She refuses to wear a bib.
She LOVES to put on other peoples shoes.
She knows most of her colors, but still refers to everything as "blue".
She is starting to pray. "Jesus, Mommy, Daddy, Sissy, Aubrey, Gigi, Poppy, Harmony, Pepaw, Ronix...repeat" until I remind her to say Amen!
She is SUPER quick and STRONG.
She loves buttons, remote controls, and stacking things.
She is a big phone person.....loves to talk on the phone.
Time out doesn't phase her. She just puts herself in it (very obedient) and then says mommy a couple of times until she comes out.
If I ask her if she wants a spanking, she replies "yes."
They are so different and it is so fun to watch these sweet babies grow. They are our hearbeats!
