SOFA Camp

Prior to summer starting, I asked Ava what activity she wanted to do. She quickly replied "arts and crafts". Anthony and I decided to enroll her in SOFA (Serving Our Father Artisticly) Camp. It is a week long camp at the church that teaches serving our Father through art, music, dance and drama. Ava LOVED it. At the end of the week they did a show that included their dance, drama, music and art. Ava was such a ham! Anthony, Gigi and I were beaming with joy watching her on stage. Aubrey also enjoyed the show, too!

Swim Lessons

I was really dreading swim lessons this year as last year was major drama. Ava had such a fear of the water (much like I did as a child). Papa had been working on her quite a bit in his pool and she was actually enjoying the water. Liz and I decided to enroll Ava and Andrew together to see if that would help their fears. Surprisingly, Ava's first day went very well. No tears and she was excited to get into the water. I was so grateful because the classes were small. 2 instructors and 2 kids. One child ended up not coming so it was 2 instructors to 3 children. Awesome! To top it off, it was only $35.00 since it was taken through the Rockwall Parks and Recreation.

Sunnyvale Fest

We celebrated 4th of July this year with the Francis' Family at Sunnyvale Fest! It was so much fun. Bounce houses, friends and fireworks! What a great time. And it was Free!!! We will definitely go back next year!

Happy Daddy's Day!

Today we celebrate the best daddy in the entire world! Ava was so excited to celebrate her daddy; she IS certainly a daddy's girl. They have such a special bond and she jumped on the chance to celebrate him! Aubrey was excited about the celebration, too!
