Happy Daddy's Day!

Today we celebrate the best daddy in the entire world! Ava was so excited to celebrate her daddy; she IS certainly a daddy's girl. They have such a special bond and she jumped on the chance to celebrate him! Aubrey was excited about the celebration, too!

 Afterwards, we went to see Poppy. Ava got in some good swimming time with him. She is improving so much from last year. She is even jumping from the edge! I'm so proud of her!

Cake Baking Fun

I LOVE having girls that enjoy cooking! Ava and I share this special bond together and I think (with the help of cake batter tasting), we have hooked Aubrey too!Here is our first cake baking experience with both of my girls!

First Bite

This morning Anthony went to pick up Aubrey from Sunday School. When he picked her up the teachers shared with him that she had got bitten by another child. They didn't call us because it didn't break skin. Anthony asked which kid did it and they responded that they would let the parent of the biter know.
When we got back to class Melissa Geraci came in exclaiming "Brennan bit Aubrey!" When Melissa went to pick up Brennan, they let her know that he had bit a child. She asked who and they replied "we are really not suppose to tell, but it was a little girl named Aubrey." Melissa replied "Aubrey Diesch?"
Too Funny! I don't think the teachers expected her to know Aubrey.

Aubrey was fine! We did capture one of the two bites. First bite for us. Ava never had any (that we knew of)!

Tender Moments

Just recently before going to bed, Aubrey has wanted me to rock her. Tonight I was rocking her, stroking her face, eyebrows and hair. It was such a sweet and precious moment. She just stared at me with her big brown eyes, studying my face. Then she lifted up her small, delicate hands and began stroking my hair and my cheeks.

My eyes welled up. What a sweet little spirit she has. Please don't grow up.......
