Pumpkin Patch 2011

Gigi and I headed out to the Dallas Aurboretum for a fun pumpkin patch day with the girls! The girls picked out their pumpkins, played in the houses and fed the coy. Much to our surprise, the sweet Francis' girls were there with their school! So time spent with Lanie and AC added to the fun day! AC loved picking up Aubrey and Aubrey loved hugging and kissing Lanie. There were lots of wonderful pics from the day! So glad Gigi could come with us and doing something fun together!

Ava has one the chapel award twice during the first 3 weeks of school! She was so proud and so were we!

Bathtime

I finally completed Aubrey's bath, got her dressed and hair dried. One down, one to go. Well, Mrs. Aubrey had different plans. I came back into the room to find her fully clothed and back into the bathtub. I guess she wasn't quite done playing with Sister! With these smiles, I couldn't help but laugh!

First Day of Pre-K

I can't believe Ava is starting Pre-K today. It seems like yesterday I dropped her off at MDO and cried when I got back to the car. I know that may seem silly, but I had never left her with anyone other than her grandparents. There were no tears from me today. She was so excited! She had gotten a new big girl back pack! She choose My Little Pony and although I captured a great picture of it, the formatting issues would not let me post it correctly. Ava wanted a lot of pictures with her Lil sis. She has grown into quite an awesome big sister over the past month.....very protective of Aubrey and wanting to do everything with her. So sweet !Notice the shirt of choice....yes, My Little Pony. Rainbow Dash is her favorite and soon to be her Halloween Costume! Ava had an awesome first day! She stayed on "green" all day! On her second day of school she won the "Chapel Award." I am so proud of her....praising God with all her spirit! Love it!

Mirorring Mommy?

After much silence, I knew something was going on. Ava came out "dressed" as mommy. And this is what she choose: purple bikini and leopard wedges!!!! For the record, I have never wore any heels with my bathing suit! But I must say, the girl has got style and makes me laugh so much!
